Dr. Sarker is the CEO and CTO of Waste Technologies, LLC (WTL) since 2013 and he is the sole owner of the company. WTL has been working on any waste turning into green fuel especially building 1st commercialization facility in Bridgeport, CT and Cleveland, Ohio on Waste Plastic to Low Sulfur Diesel (Patent # US 8,927,797 B2) and he has 5 more patent is pending stage since 2011. In addition he is the owner of couple of other companies such as Sheba Construction LLC and Sheba Magic Touch LLC, etc. He has entrepreneurship and creating green jobs in local communities and USA.
Dr. Moinuddin Sarker received his Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST), Manchester, UK. He also has a Masters and a Bachelors degree, both in Chemistry, from the University Of Chittagong, Bangladesh. Since 2005, Dr. Sarker is the Vice President of Research & Development at NSR’s laboratory with an extensive background in waste conversion to energy, along with an academic history of multidisciplinary field. Under the direction of Dr. Sarker, he and his WTL and NSR research team developed a unique method to convert plastic into liquid fuel.
Dr. Sarker is the inventor of the technology and product entitles: “Method for converting waste plastics to lower – molecular weight hydrocarbons, particularly hydrocarbon fuel materials and the hydrocarbon material produced thereby.†(Patent # US 8,927,797 B2).
Dr. Sarker has more 115 research publication and written 6 books including chapters. He is a Chief, Full Editor, Associate Editors and reviewer in more than 100 peer review journals in around the globe.
Dr. Sarker is a distinguished member of the more than 40 organization or associations such as, Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC), UK, American Chemical Society (ACS), American Physical Society (APS), American Institute of Chemical Engineering (AIChE), International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC), Advanced Photon Sources User Group (APS), Chicago, Canadian Society for Chemistry (CSC), Chemical Institute of Canada (CIC), American Council on Renewable Energy (ACORE), Cleantech Forum International, Connecticut Technology Council, Alliance for Clean Energy of New York (ACENY), Society of Automobile Engineering
(SAE) International, Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE), Vermont Renewable Energy, Sierra Club, Greenpeace International, Bangladesh Chemical Society (Life Member), Dhaka, Bangladesh, Canadian Institute for Neutron Scattering (CINS). Dr. Sarker also heads a humanitarian effort in Bangladesh. The Moinuddin and Anjuman Foundation, Inc., helps provide essentials for the poor and underprivileged (www.moinandanjufoundation.com). In his position as CEO and CTO of WTL and VP of NSR, one of his responsibilities is to supervise and oversee the research activities of the research team at NSR and WTL and implementation of the research findings towards commercialization. He has twenty seven years of research experience in the multiple fields of science like Chemistry especially in Green Chemistry, Material Physics and Environmental science. He possesses solid writing skills which have enabled him to compose quality correspondence with the business clients in the commercialization and franchising his innovative technology to the business world. In addition his writing skills results in more than 115 peers reviewed publications, six book chapters and three patents (pending). As the reflection of oral skill, he was invited and delivered at least 50 scientific and business oral presentations both nationally and internationally. His interpersonal
and communication skills have also allowed him to develop productive working relationships with both our staffs and business clients around the globe.
Dr. Sarker has great learning attitude and capability that leads him to successfully achieve the vice president position in the company from a multidiscipline team leader. The most innovative performance of him is in the field of alternative energy. He invented a unique process of converting waste plastic to hydrocarbon fuel to generate electricity and run internal combustible
engine. Under his leadership, the process of fuel production is being commercialization. Dr. Sarker achieved this progress through the enormous diligence he showed his analytical skills to diagnose problems and devise viable solutions in all of his scientific and professional work. His ability to remain unflustered during frenzied periods like construction of large scale production facility proves his ability to work well under pressure.
Dr. Sarker has exceptional time management, planning, and organization skills and is able to complete tasks within strict deadlines. He oversees the work of R&D of multiple staffs. He also oversees the regulatory compliances and safety aspects of R&D laboratories, plant construction and business. In addition perform duties as Corporate Officer (CO) of NSR to maintain effective
daily operations of the organization. He is helping to create green jobs in local communities and USA. Whilst maintaining efficient and effective office functions Dr. Sarker is able to the build effective working relationships between all employees, create a positive work environment and as a direct result of Sarkers leadership, planning and organizational skills, the company is moving forward into a successful industry, hence contributing in the solution of ever demanding problem of energy.
